Defense Minister Colonel General Mukhtar Altynbaev and his Chinese counterpart Cao Gangchuan signed a cooperation agreement in Peking on 27 April. Under the agreement, China will provide the Kazakh Army with aid worth 8 million yuans ($967,000).
