KAZAKH-UZBEK BORDER BACK TO NORMAL

Checkpoints on the Kazakh-Uzbek border are once again functioning normally. Heightened security measures during and immediately after the terror attacks in Uzbekistan between 28 March and 1 April had enforced a near shutdown in cross-border traffic. Though document checks and inspections \"are being carried out thoroughly,\" Kazakh officials told the newspaper that travelers have been able to enter Uzbekistan for the last two days.Visit also
