The first results of Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev\'s medical examination at a Cleveland hospital in the United States are encouraging, according to the clinic\'s press release obtained by Interfax on Friday. The Azerbaijani president is currently being treated for heart and kidney problems. He is not experiencing any neurologic problems, the press release reads.

President Aliyev flew from Turkey to the United States on Wednesday to continue his medical treatment in Cleveland, Ohio, where he underwent a coronary bypass in 1999. (Interfax)
