ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK TO FUND UZBEK HEALTH CARE

Uzbekistan\'s Agency for Foreign Economic Relations announced on 22 April that the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will provide $25 million to supply regional branches of the National Intensive Care Center with specialized equipment. Overall, the IDB has allocated $60 million for Uzbekistan in 2004, and a total of $456.5 million for 16 projects for the period 2004-2007.Visit also
