More than 2,000 women congregated on 7 April outside the Constitutional Court building in Yerevan to express their support for defeated presidential candidate Stepan Demirchian and to demand that the results of the February-March ballot be annulled, RFE/RL\'s Yerevan bureau reported. In a written statement, they also demanded that women be granted greater representation in government and parliament.
