Several successful special operations conducted in Chechnya over the last four days have resulted in the elimination of 14 militants, some of them commanders, Chechen Interior Ministry spokesman Ruslan Atsayev told Interfax on Friday. Among those killed was Alash Daudov, regarded as the second most important militant after Shamil Basayev, and also Rasul Khidirlezov and Isa Tsakalayev, he said.
