The Amtsakhara public-political movement, consisting of the 1992-93 Abkhazian war veterans, adopted a resolution at a July 10 congress, urging de facto President of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba for resignation. The Amtsakhara opposition movement claims that Ardzinba is unable to cope with the grave crime situation in Abkhazia and strengthen Abkhazia’s independence.
