The World Jewish Congress (WJC) highly estimates the role of Kazakhstan and, in particular, of the head of state, \"in the issues of friendship, good relations and neighbours of Kazakhstan\", Israel Zinger, chairman of WJC, said on 17 June in Astana after his meeting with the president of RK Nursultan Nazarbayev. The World Jewish Congress (WJC) highly estimates the role of Kazakhstan and, in particular, of the head of state, \"in the issues of friendship, good relations and neighbours of Kazakhstan\", Israel Zinger, chairman of WJC, said on 17 June in Astana after his meeting with the president of RK Nursultan Nazarbayev. I. Zinger especially noted N.Nazarbayev\'s efforts towards establishing good relations between various religions and creeds. \"The WJC supports these initiatives of the president\", - I. Zinger said. Besides, the head of WJC said that during his conversation with N.Nazarbayev an issue of preparations for the religious Congress planned to take place in the autumn in Astana was discussed. This project has \"a huge significance for all countries and religions and is also supported by the WJC\", - he observed. I.Zinger promised to inform about the project details in a few weeks, when the preparatory work of the WJC together with the president administration would be completed. (Kazakhstan Today)
