IRANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TOUTS JOINT PROJECTS ON KAZAKH VISIT

Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki met with Kazakh President Nazarbaev in Astana on December 14 to discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation. Mottaki said that Iran and Kazakhstan plan to build an oil refinery in northern Iran. Kazakh Transportation and Communications Minister Serik Akhmetov said that Iran may build a petrochemical plant in Kazakhstan\'s Atyrau province.Visit also
