ANOTHER OFFICIAL ARRESTED IN GEORGIA ON CORRUPTION CHARGES

Georgia law enforcement bodies arrested another official on corruption charges. As a REGNUM correspondent reports, chair of sakrebulo (local parliament) in Pirveli village of Zestafon District (Georgia) Alexander Chulukhadze was detained; financial police accused him of financial fraud. According to the investigation, he abused power and within two years had been producing and applying falsified invoices; as a result of his activity the damage to the country was estimated as 10,000 lari.Visit also
