KYRGYZSTAN, UZBEKISTAN REPORTEDLY AGREE NO-VISA CROSSINGS

Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have reached an agreement that will allow citizens of those two countries to spend up to 60 days in the other country without obtaining a visa. The agreement was reached during a visit by Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Alikbek Jekshenkulov to Tashkent on August 24-25, and it is expected to be signed when Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiev visits Uzbekistan in the fall.
