GEORGIA PARLIAMENT VOTES TO STOP PEACEKEEPING OPERATION IN S. OSSETIA.

Georgian lawmakers on Wednesday passed a resolution which calls for terminating the current peacekeeping operation in the zone of the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict, but stopped short of setting the dates for the peacekeepers\' pullout. The parliament instructed the government to \"step up the efforts to work out a new format of peacekeeping operation in the zone of the South Ossetian conflict.\" It has to be replaced with a more effective international peacekeeping operation, Georgian lawmakers said.Visit also
