KAZAKH OPPOSITION PARTY NOMINATES PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE

Kazakhstan\'s opposition party Ak Zhol [Bright Path] has nominated its leader Alikhan Baimenov as its candidate for the presidential election to be held on December 4. The nomination was backed unanimously by all of the 117 delegates to this party\'s congress on Sunday. Baimenov, 46, is an engineer and has a candidate\'s degree in mechanical engineering.Visit also
