CANADIAN OIL COMPANY FACES $55 MILLION JUDGMENT IN KAZAKHSTAN

PetroKazakhstan, a Canadian-registered company that extracts oil in Kazakhstan, announced on 14 July that a Kazakh court has rendered a $55.4 million judgment against it for violations of antimonopoly legislation. The company said it has not yet received a written copy the court ruling, but noted that it plans to appeal.Visit also
