The Headquarters for the Protection of the State Language, a union of Kyrgyz non-governmental and political organizations, has called for Russian to be stripped of its status as an official language in Kyrgyzstan. \"When Russian was accepted as an official language, Kyrgyz was pushed even further back into the shadows. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov said that the location of NATO peacekeepers in the zone of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict would be premature. \"When we are talking about peacekeeping missions, we should primarily discuss the mandate of these missions.
