SUPREME COURT IN BISHKEK IS BEING STORMED

Tens of thousands of Armenians, including President Robert Kocharian, linked hands on 28 May to form a 170-kilometer long human chain that performed a 15-minute dance around the base of Mount Aragats, the highest mountain on the territory of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian agencies and RFE/RL\'s Armenian Service reported. Estimates of the number of participants ranged from 160,000 to 240,000. Kocharian characterized the dance, which was organized at the initiative of the Nig-Aparan NGO, headed by Prosecutor-General Aghvan Hovsepian, as an attempt to express the unity of the Armenian nation.IMF APPROVES NEW LOANS FOR ARMENIA
