TURKMEN PRESIDENT CHANGES MARRIAGE LAW FOR FOREIGNERS

Saparmurat Niyazov has changed the law regulating marriages between Turkmen citizens and foreigners, turkmenistan.ru reported on 22 April. Under the new law, foreigners will no longer have to pay a $50,000 deposit, although they will still have to reside in Turkmenistan for no less than one year.
