Nana Kakabadze, who heads a Georgian NGO that protects the rights of former political prisoners, told journalists in Tbilisi on 2 July that former Audit Chamber head Sulkhan Molashvili is being subjected to electric shocks, cigarette burns, and psychological pressure during interrogation, Caucasus Press reported. Molashvili was arrested in April and remanded in pre-trial detention for three months on charges of embezzling 37,000 laris ($19,466). (Caucasus Press).
