Kyrgyz Prime Minister Nikolai Tanaev told the Legislative Assembly on 17 February that 654 kilometers of the 1,200-kilometer border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan has been completely delimited to the satisfaction of the two governments and the local populations, but that Uzbekistan suddenly revoked its agreement on a 27-kilometer strip that is part of more than 960 kilometers on which agreement was reached in principle.
