RUSSIA, KYRGYZSTAN TO ESTABLISH RECIPROCAL CONSULAR OFFICES

The Russian government has accepted a proposal made by the Foreign Ministry on the opening of a general consulate of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in Yekaterinburg, the department of government information told RIA. Sverdlovsk Region administration has been instructed to provide services and accommodation for the Kyrgyz consulate.The Russian government has also accepted the Foreign Ministry proposal to open a general consulate of the Russian Federation in Osh, in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

The Foreign Ministry has been instructed to determine through diplomatic channels the limits of the Russian consulate district and to ensure finance as of 2001. (RIA news agency)
